PRELUDE STRING ORCHESTRA (PSO) PROGRAM

PSO offers beginning string instruction  (Violin-Viola-Cello-Bass) for youth in grades 3-8. Student participants have the opportunity to learn how to play a string instrument by participating in weekly orchestra activities. PSO students also perform in annual concerts and small ensembles, sometimes alongside adult FCO musicians. This program has inspired some young people to pursue music careers and to participate in other institutions, including FCO ensembles and prestigious schools and camps such as Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp and Interlochen Arts Academy.

Fee – $300 for the year (Sept-April). Partial payments are available. 
Scholarships: Full and partial scholarships are offered for Season 11.
