THE FENTON COMMUNITY ORCHESTRA

  • Strings, Woodwinds, Brass & Percussion (Intermediate to Advanced Level)
  • Ages 13 to 90+ (we are a multigenerational orchestra)
  • Fee – $90 for the year (Sept-April) if paid at one time, or $60/semester
  • Rehearsals are on Thursdays from 6:45 –8:45 pm at Andrew G. Schmidt Middle School in Fenton
    • Park at the north end of the building and enter door 5.
  • FCO has been conducted by local Maestro Andrew David Perkins since its inception in 2010.
  • Musicians should be comfortable performing music at publisher levels grade 3-5. 
WAR OF THE WORLDS 
A live re-enactment of the H.G. Wells 1898 novel and Orson Welles 1938 radio broadcast that brought mass hysteria to the U.S., in partnership with the Wishing Well Theatre.
  • Oct. 23 - War of the Worlds red carpet GALA theatrical event with Wishing Well Theatre, 7:00 pm, Fenton High School
  • Oct. 24 - War of the Worlds theatrical event with Wishing Well Theatre, 2:00 pm and 7:00 pm, Fenton High School.
  • Oct. 25 - War of the Worlds theatrical event with Wishing Well Theatre, 2:00 pm, Fenton High School.
